About the Author

Leslie Rider is originally from Rochester, New York. For over twenty years, she taught English and Spanish. These days, she writes fiction and paints. Ms. Rider grew up in a bilingual household, and some of her narratives explore what it means to grow up bicultural. She identifies as bisexual and was diagnosed as autistic in 2023. In her stories, she likes to include characters like herself and the challenges she's faced throughout her life as a member of the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. This is because she hopes her readers who identify like her don't feel alone. Currently, she lives with her family in Maryland.
